Yes, God is at work in the world today. Fifteen years ago, that was the message of the Christian classic book Experiencing God by Henry Blackaby and Claude King. And today it’s just as true as ever. 40 Days of Experiencing God is a biblically based study that will allow our church an opportunity to explore and understand together the 7 key truths or realities of experiencing God in a whole new way. This exciting study begins on Sunday, August 12 and will run through Sunday, September 23.

Through a series of seven focused Sunday morning worship services, 40 daily devotions,and participation in seven home group discussions, this study will encourage and equip learners to join God in doing his will. The small groups will be formed from our existing adult Sunday School classes and will be given the opportunity to meet on Sunday evenings in lieu of our normal Sunday evening service.

• God is always at work around you.
• God pursues a continuing love relationship with you that is real and personal.
• God invites you to become involved in His work.
• God speaks by the Holy Spirit through the Bible, prayer, circumstances, and the church to reveal Himself, His purposes, and His ways.
• God's invitation for you to work with Him always leads you to a crisis of belief that requires faith and action.
• You must make major adjustments in your life to join God in what He is doing.
• You come to know God by experience as you obey Him and He accomplishes His work through you.

The goal of this interactive, 40 day study is to bring our members together - uniting both our minds and hearts through common study. In the process, it will strengthen our relationship with one another and ultimately with God. Then, when we become fully aware of God's presence, we can know and do His will.
