At Energize Kids, our mid week kids program, children will enjoy a high energy worship time
with games and activities and then small group Bible study and discussion suited specifically for their age.
It is a great way to recharge your child's week and grow them in their knowledge of Jesus.

Sundays at 9:15am
First Baptist offers small group Bible studies for children on Sunday mornings at 9:15am. Loving teachers help make Bible learning fun. First Kid's LifeGroups are organized according to age (preschool) and school grades.
Sundays at 10:30am
We offer several Sunday morning worship opportunities for kids
- Little Kid's Time - for preschoolers, in preschool area.
- Kid's Time - for children, grades K-5, The Back Yard Kid's Worship Center
- Family Worship - Every first Sunday, kids in grades K-5 join their parents in the Worship Center for a church-wide worship celebration. This service usually includes a segment designed especially for kids.
CENTRIKID CAMP 2025
It is time to register for CentriKid Camp this summer. All kids who have completed 3rd-6th grades are eligible to go! In order to guarantee our spots, we have to pay a $100 deposit per person by Feb 15. Our location and date usually fills up quickly and we do not want anyone to miss out.
Here are the basic details of camp:
DATE: June 24-28
LOCATION: Campbellsville University in Campbellsville, KY.
WHO CAN GO: CentriKid is open to students who have completed grades 3-5
TOTAL COST: $375 (deposit + $275)
DEPOSIT: $100 due before February 15
WHAT YOUR $ PAYS FOR: This includes 2 camp t-shirts, transportation via charter bus to and from camp and all meals while at camp. You will be responsible for 2 fast food meals, one on Monday and one on Friday.

Parents are always welcome at every Children's Ministry activity.
If you would like to serve as a leader/teacher for Kid's Life Groups, Energize Kids, or Kid's Time; service as Nursery/Preschool worker; or serve as a camp chaperon, please let us know. You will need to complete an application, undergo a background check, and receive training.

- All workers in our Nursery/Preschool/Children/Student Ministries undergo an application process that includes a background check and personal interview.
- All nursery and preschool children must be checked in before participation and will only be released from the activity to a parent or authorized adult.
- We regularly review our Child Protection Policy and audit our actual performance to find ways to improve child safety on our campus.
- We require annual training in our Child Protection Policy for all Nursery, Preschool, Children, and Student Ministry workers.
- Our Nursery features recorded video surveillance.
